248 days since, what now?
I last posted on Jan 10... What am I building now? What's next?
Hey everyone, Zach here
It’s been a whole lot of time. 248 days since my last newsletter to be exact.
At that time I was launching Learniverse 1.0, which was a platform to learn any topic with AI through creating personalized learning paths.
Here’s what it looked like at the time:
Feedback on going nomad for 1.5 years
Last time we spoke I was nomading across the world: Japan, San Francisco, Boston, India, France, and Thailand. I was compelled to follow in the footsteps of @levels.io.
Building products online while traveling the world. For anyone interested in my experience here is the gist of it.
It was one of the most incredible learning experiences of my life.
Only by trying this level of freedom could I understand what it means to work on something simply because you love it.
It is only through the canvas of nothingness that greatness can emerge.
I met countless inspiring people (artists, founders, creators, business people, etc.). And through those meetings, I learned so much more about what it means to be human.
What it means to have goals, inspiration, love, fear, and regret.
And I realized that all of this is something we choose to own. Something we choose to hold with us while we progress on this game we call life.
And through this, I realized some of my own beliefs that were sticking with me without my choosing.
One of them was that the only way that I wanted to build a business was by building it solo while nomading across the world. To be absolutely free.
But you know what I truly wanted all that time? As simple as: I want to build a meaningful & successful business with people I love.
After spending 2 weeks in a temple in Northern India… I realized I had AND wanted to come back to Canada.
To create a home, to nurture relationships with people I love. And to stop chasing opportunities on the other side of the world and instead attract them wherever I am.
So to anyone reading here is what I would say about my solopreneur nomading journey:
Highly recommend it as a learning experience to anyone starting entrepreneurship
Try to share as much of your journey as possible. Building an interesting personal brand is the upside of this. Share on Tiktok & write on twitter.
Build multiple projects fast. Don’t get stuck on a project. Find the audience, find the problem, test it, then build and if it fails move on.
Find a working spot you love in every city. Don’t settle for a Starbucks that can be full & distracting. Get a wework pass or try to find a hidden gem library.
Make friends and be interested in people you meet. People have more to teach you than you think, especially if you ask good questions.
What now? Learniverse 2.0?
I have moved back to Montreal! My home city. Now building from this cozy office at home :)
So what am I working on now? Well I am working on Learniverse 2.0.
I am very excited to launch soon. I also had my biggest revenue day last Thursday 🙏
What is Learniverse 2.0 now?
Well it’s now a platform for educators to create interactive learning paths on any topic using AI. They can then share & track progress of their students or employees.
If it’s something you’re interested in, I am also running a lifetime access deal this week. For only 99$ you get access to the app forever - check it out
I am gonna be sharing a lot more about my learnings and progress in the coming months. Now building from Canada 🇨🇦
Thanks for reading,
I hope you enjoyed.
